2. Account Registration
You’re responsible for your account. Keep your login secure and your info accurate. You’re liable for any activity under your account.
3. Use of the Service
You agree not to misuse the platform, break laws, reverse-engineer our code, or abuse our alert systems.
4. Plans, Billing & Cancellation
We offer both free and paid subscription plans:
Free Plan: May include delayed alerts, single contact only, and limited features.
Premium Plan: Includes real-time alerts, multiple contacts, original violation documents, and delivery via Email and WhatsApp.
Paid subscriptions auto-renew monthly unless canceled. No refunds unless otherwise stated.
5. Notifications
We strive to deliver instant alerts via Email and WhatsApp. However, we do not guarantee delivery due to reliance on external systems and third-party platforms.
6. Data Sources
ViolationWatch aggregates data from public NYC databases (DOB, HPD, FDNY, 311, DEP, etc.). We do not control the accuracy or availability of third-party data. Use at your own discretion.
7. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for missed alerts, fines, property losses, or business damages. Our total liability will not exceed the amount paid in the last 12 months.
8. Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify ViolationWatch against any claims related to your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
9. Modifications
We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. Continued use = acceptance.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
